Repeat Prescriptions 

Requests for prescriptions can be made:

• Online HERE

• By handing in your re-order form at reception

• By telephoning the surgery
  If you are telephoning your request please call after 10.00 am in order to leave the lines open for emergencies/house visits.

On whichever day your request is made your prescription will normally be ready for collection after 2.00pm the following working day.

Several of the local chemists offer a daily collection service – when we tell you the time that your prescription will be ready, you can then contact your chemist and give details to them for collection. In some cases they can also deliver your medication to your home – we understand there may be a small charge for this service.

Arrangements can also be made to post out repeat prescriptions. You can post your request to us enclosing a stamped addressed envelope (SAE) or alternatively supply Reception with several at one time which we will hold on file.

Please note that prescription requests issued by the hospital will normally be ready for collection after 2.00pm the following day. The hospital will inform us if the prescription is required earlier.
