Non-urgent advice: When We Are Closed

This practice is a member of Ayrshire Doctors on Call (ADOC).

If you require urgent medical help between 5.30 pm and 8.00 am (Mon – Fri) or over the weekend please call 111.

Your call will be answered by NHS 24 who will refer any treatment required to your local centre. This service is operated by Doctors and Advanced Nurse Practitioners and the number is available by calling the surgery answering service at any time out-of-hours.  The number is 1 1 1.

Please remember the service is for urgent problems which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens. If you are housebound or too ill to attend a doctor will visit.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

If you have a genuine medical emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute a medical emergency.
